

Responding on BBC & SKY to the Weinstein Scandal for Equity and ERA50:50
So out of the blue I was on TV 5 times (!) last week, as well on the radio and in the Times. Equity asked me to be their spokesperson in response the the Weinstein scandal that was unearthed over the lat few weeks, and I was honoured to do so. I was pre-recorded by Sky News on Tuesday, then invited to be live on BBC1 breakfast show with Charlie and Naga on Thursday morning, and then invited to BBC Radio 5 Live, BBC 2 Victoria Derbyshire, and Sky News again, this time live. On


FIRST FORGE MEETING
This week we had our first ever proper Forge collective meeting, at the beautiful Number 4, Farm Road in Mayfair. Surrounded by the red bricks of history, we tapped into our long neglected creative brains and rekindled creative projects of our own. We shared them and helped each other, gave advice, contacts and ideas. We also made a short task list to be checked at the next meeting, on 2nd November. If anyone wants to join us, email me! WAR (Women at Rada) Reading of Berenice!
We were recently and suddenly asked to fill a slot in a Women at Rada reading, as part of their Women at Rada 100 plays for women, written for or by women, to prove that these plays exist in their plenty. Lucy Sheen, Sadie Clarke, Vivienne Gibbs, Jordan Mifsud and Gary Merry all rehearsed and performed this beautifully, and I got to read Berenice, which was a life's ambition.
